ZUMMESH-KP10AMBATT-B-S

The AirMedia® Wireless Keypad (ZUMMESH-KP10AMBATT Series) is an optional accessory for an AirMedia Presentation System.1 It can be mounted virtually anywhere in the room to enable basic control of the system. Specifically, it provides on/off power control and up/down audio volume control of the display device connected to the system.2

Its slim design allows the keypad to be attached directly to any suitable flat surface using screws or two-sided adhesive tape. It can also be mounted to a standard electrical box, either alone of alongside other decorator style devices. Complete installation requires a decorator style faceplate (Crestron FP-G series or equivalent).

The ZUMMESH-KP10AMBATT is battery powered and completely wireless. It can operate for five years or more on a single lithium coin cell battery (included). Connection to the presentation system requires an AV Bridge (ZUMMESH-AVBRIDGE, sold separately), which connects to the AM device via USB and serves as a wireless transceiver for the keypad.1,3

1. Compatible with AM-200, AM-300, AM-3000-WF(-I), AM-3100-WF(-I), AM-3200, AM-3200-WF(-I), AM-3200-GV AirMedia Presentation Systems.

2. The buttons on a ZUMMESH-KP10AMBATT keypad cannot be custom engraved and are not custom programmable for alternate functionality. Functionality is limited to that described herein. Power and volume control capability requires use of a display device that supports discrete power on, power off, volume up, and volume down commands via CEC, IP, IR, or RS-232.

When connected to the AirMedia Presentation System, the ZUMMESH-AVBRIDGE enables wireless connectivity for one ZUMMESH-KP10AMBATT series keypad and one ZUMMESH-PIR-OCCUPANCY-BATT occupancy sensor only. Together, these three devices form a small peer-to-peer wireless network that works exclusively with the AirMedia system. Although this network uses “Zūm Mesh” wireless technology, it does not support any additional Zūm Mesh wireless device(s), and cannot be interconnected with a Zūm lighting system.
