The Crestron® DIN-EN-6X18-HC-5OPEN is a UL® Listed enclosure that provides an attractive centralized mounting solution for the DIN-THSTAT thermostats and other DIN rail modules. An elegantly finished black cover matches the aesthetic of the DIN-THSTAT thermostat while providing a professional look and feel. A hinged cover provides easy access to equipment wiring while openings in the cover provide access to the DIN modules through the cover.

DIN Rail Mounting

The DIN-EN-6X18-HC-5OPEN enclosure utilizes 18M wide DIN rails to install up to 2 DIN modules (9M wide) per DIN rail.

Raised DIN rails allow access to the DIN module's control surface through the cover openings. The DIN-EN-6X18-HC-5OPEN provides 6 DIN rails - 5 raised DIN rails with the ability to install 10 DIN modules (9M wide) and 1 normal-height DIN rail (18M wide) located in a separate fire enclosure.

Separate Fire Enclosure

The design of the panel creates a fire enclosure which provides an installation location for line-voltage (Class 1) devices. The fire enclosure provides a barrier that maintains a separation between Class 1 device installation and wiring in the fire enclosure and Class 2 device installation and wiring in the enclosure area with the cover cutouts.

The fire enclosure contains one normal-height DIN rail and does not include cutouts in the cover. The fire enclosure is perfectly suited for devices like the DIN-PWS60 power supply or 24 VAC HVAC transformers (not supplied).
