Crestron® CAEN-MLO automation enclosures are designed to provide a professional centralized dimming solution for residential and commercial applications. CAEN-MLO enclosures are available in three physical sizes, providing options for both surface and flush wall mount installation. Each model has been engineered to provide a clean and manageable installation with abundant provisions for wire termination and electrical knockouts.

Space-Efficient and Configurable

CAEN-MLO automation enclosures are designed to use space efficiently, supporting up to 80 controlled circuits in the largest model. Configured using Crestron CLX Series lighting control modules[1], CAEN-MLO enables versatile combinations of dimming, switching, fan, and motor control in a single enclosure. Five enclosure models are offered, each designed for use as a subpanel with either split phase or three phase main lugs. As an option, Crestron offers complete factory assembly and testing in our panel shop.

Integrated Circuit Breakers

Up to 20 circuit breakers may be installed[1], providing a choice of thermal magnetic, ground fault, and combination arc fault breaker types. To ensure premium electrical circuit protection, Crestron has chosen Eaton® CH circuit breakers for use in our CAEN-MLO automation enclosures. These breakers have been rigorously tested and proven to work reliably with Crestron dimmers, exhibiting excellent immunity to nuisance tripping under dimmed loads up to 2000 Watts. An innovative plug-on neutral design eliminates the need for individual pigtails wired to a separate bus bar, affording a cleaner, more efficient assembly.

Control System Options

Any CAEN-MLO automation enclosure can be equipped with a Crestron automation control system[1], affording fully integrated control for a complete residence or commercial facility. A Crestron control system provides a fully programmable control solution, with the ability to augment the centralized lighting controls with in-wall dimmers and switches, shading controls, climate controls, remote sensors, keypads and touch screen controllers throughout the building. Crestron control systems also allow for integration with security, AV, HVAC, irrigation, pool and spa, and a variety of other systems.
